"> Any way we could incorporate a calendar for the volunteer page? To keep
      > track of things that volunteers are doing like vet appts, transporting
      > dogs, etc.???

      (from Sheryl)
      1. having the reminders that are set up for foster homes regarding vacines,
appts, etc syncing right to the calendar or being able to add it to the
calendar and having a reminder sent to the foster home-similar to the yahoo
      calendar.
      2. Being able to add in volunteers who are scheduled to work at our adoption
      venues

      From Juliet:
Is it possible to have a calendar that is available only to people with certain
permissions? I was thinking it would be great to have a calendar on which our
coordinators could list cats for spays/vaccines/etc. It would be really cool if
it would then highlight due dates. For instance, kittens get distempter
vaccines every 3 weeks until a certain age. The vets would love to see those
reminders on a calendar. The journal does have a reminder function, but it only
emails the individual logged in. The trouble is that the vets tend not to do
data entry so it's done by the coordinators and me. They would check a calendar
      though.

Volunteer calendar could show volunteers that are planning to attend an event.

Scheduling feature - where the Volunteer Coordinator could set up the month's calendar of who is scheduled to work on what days and what times. That way, if there are open times not filled folks could go in and assign themselves to cover those times, and everyone at a glance would know who is on when, etc.
