Currently the RescueGroups.org system does not consider the animal's status when sending journal entry reminders and alerts. This suggestion is to only send journal emails if the animal has the status of Available.

The concern is that organizations may have a continuing process for the journal reminders after an animal is adopted, and by stopping the alerts, those animals may miss important medicines, etc.

We are looking for suggestions on how to best handle the journal alerts if the animal's status is not available.
